A stretch of the Champlain Canalway Trail from Broad Street in Waterford north for about a mile has been closed for quite some time now for improvements and maintenance. The work was described as "resurfacing (stone dust and asphalt), trail widening, clearing & tree removal, drainage improvements and new wooden fencing."
The most notable changes are a few newly paved sections and the new wooden fence. I'm not a fan of the fence.
I walked up the section this morning with my 24-70mm lens and ended up with 13 images to add to the gallery at https://trulandphotography.com/oldchamp. Here are some samples.
