It's World Turtle Day so I thought I'd head up to the Champlain Canalway Trail in Halfmoon where there are tons of turtles. I parked at Schoolhouse Lane and walked the two or so miles up to the waste weir and back.
It was overcast when I headed north so no turtles were sunning themselves. I did see some turtles on the way back south and one hanging out on the trail but nothing photogenic.
Instead, it was birds and a beaver that provided subjects. I carried the 85mm and 600mm lenses.
I added 17 images to the gallery at https://trulandphotography.com/oldchamp. Here are six samples.
