I got up at 4:00 AM this morning to walk 1 1/2 miles down to where there are good vantage points for sunrises over Great Sacandaga Lake. My first shot was made at 4:51 AM with sunrise occurring at 5:17 AM.
I carried only one body with the EF 16-35mm f/4L IS lens. Handheld bracketed sequences had shutter speeds as low as 1/5 second which is about the limit, especially when bracketing 5 files. Interestingly, only a few of the 31 images I uploaded to the website were wider than 24mm. I've been considering replacing my 24-240mm lens (which is not good at it's widest end) with the RF 24-105mm f.4L. That lens probably would have been perfect this morning.
