Wilkinson Trail West, Saratoga Battlefield
Instead of driving the tour road, I decided to walk the Wilkinson Trail at Saratoga National Historical Park this morning. The complete trail is 4.2 miles long but I opted for the shorter, 2 mile version, utilizing the Liaison Trail shortcut. As I had already climbed up Stark's Knob in Schulyerville... discretion and all that.
Here is the view from the top of Stark's Knob, looking North East.
I carried only the 16-35mm lens at the park this morning. I could have carried a second body and the 70-300mm lens but didn't really want the extra five pounds. The Saratoga NHP gallery now contains 228 photos.
